A family-owned and operated restaurant with roots from the island of Ikaria and the
mainland of Kalamata.
Our farm-to-table venue is a celebration of fresh produce, just like my parents and
grandparents produced. We grow most of our vegetables on site, we have our
chickens providing fresh eggs, and our bees producing delicious honey.
We source everything we can’t grow on-site from local farms. Eggs from Kangaroo
Island, chicken from Cape Jervis, goat from Clare Valley, lamb from Barossa, olives
and extra virgin olive oil from Mclaren Vale, potatoes from Virginia, seafood from SA
local waters plus many more…
We ferment, we pickle, we preserve, we bake.
We offer a family-friendly environment producing Greek Island style cooking with
live entertainment and a welcoming spaced for local community gatherings.
Our restaurant specializes in coal cooking, preserving traditional flavours and
providing Greek comfort food. Our dishes are best shared!
Gather with family and friends and eat like a Greek, drink like a sailor and laugh like
a local
Welcome to my home, “stin igia mas”
Vasili
At our Greek taverna, we focus on a farm-to-table experience, just like my parents and grandparents did. We grow our own vegetables, ensuring every dish is made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our menu reflects traditional Greek flavours, prepared with care and passed down through generations. Taste the difference of authentic, homemade meals made from the heart.
